Reforming Massage Education: Putting Touch First

Now that science has validated the importance of touch for health and well being and detailed its mechanisms, it is time for the massage profession to claim its mantle as the cultural expert on touch. This presentation will detail how schools are adjusting their curricula so that students are immersed in touch education from day one. Every student should graduate not simply as a massage practitioner, but also as a touch educator.
