Description

With technology, much of the natural touch has disappeared in the trace of paediatric care, pushchairs, babies sleeping in their own bed, etc. This has caused many problems, as touch is vital for all development - physical and emotional. Today science and can “prove” what ancient tradition knew all along – that nurturing touch enhances the bonding and attachment process, language development, body awareness, improves sleep pattern, is pain relieving, creates trust and high self-esteem. Research has shown that infant massage increases parental confidence, reduces domestic violence and isolation.
