Ruth Werner is an icon in the massage profession. She is the author of A Massage Therapist’s Guide to Pathology and Disease Handbook for Massage Therapists, and is also a columnist for Massage & Bodywork magazine. She has served the Massage Therapy Foundation since 2007, first as a trustee and then as president. In this behind-the-scenes interview, werner shares with former Massage & Bodywork magazine Editor-in-Chief Leslie Young the evolution of her ideas, the questions that keep her curious, and the formative moments in her life and career.
